The Ovatus Towers: 48 & 27-Storeys.

City’s Newest Skyscraper It’s Tallest

Two new landmarks are set to rise from the city of Liverpool’s burgeoning live/work district. They will mark the rebirth of Leeds Street, whilst nearby Elliot’s Infinity towers will lend weight to the adjacent Pall Mall area.

Ovatus tower 1 will be the first off the blocks – the 27-storey building has already been submitted to planning chiefs at Liverpool City Council and is expected to be given permission.

Ovatus tower 2 – which is to come in at 48-storeys and will be higher by 8 floors to it’s nearest competitor, will have to wait for Shop Direct’s computer centre to be cleared away when their lease runs out on that building in 2018. The data centre was bought last year by Ovatus’ developers Wilcocks & Wilcocks amd Prospect Capital.

Why has investment in this city totally dried up look at the planning portal nothing but single story extensions or tree work for at least six months at least really is embarrassing!
