Head back in time to discover Great Charlotte Street when it really was great.
fantastic photo’s, gt charlotte st has certainly changed, but i wouldn’t say for the better ,,
I have to agree with John K Mullin because, since that shithole that is the Clayton Square shopping centre was built, Great Charlotte Street has gone right down the pan! For a kick off, Gimbles (which I suspect started in the US) should never have closed and neither should Blacklers for that matter. The only part of town that I’ll consider going near is Bold Street and even THAT has gone down the pan. Why can’t architects and planners leave the city centre alone?
